This is the version number of the Attention control panel. When this box is checked, the Attention control panel icon is shown on startup, provided you put this control panel in the Control Panels folder. When this box isn’t checked, the Attention control panel icon is never shown on startup. When this box is checked, inactive applications aren’t allowed to put up an alert box when they need attention. When this box isn’t checked, inactive applications may put up an alert box when they need attention. When this box is checked, inactive applications aren’t allowed to play a sound when they need attention. When this box isn’t checked, inactive applications may play a sound when they need attention. When this box is checked, a sound is always played when an inactive application needs attention. When this box isn’t checked, it’s up to inactive applications to decide whether to play a sound when they need attention.
